πŸ’– The Heart Behind the Pink Paw

My brother Zach and I grew up side by side β€” best friends, co-conspirators, and lifelong animal lovers. From our very first cocker spaniel mix (she was both blind and deaf) to Sophie the First, a purebred Cocker, whom he’d take for nights at a time and smuggle into his first apartment, and Sophie the Second, a hyper-active Springer Spaniel, dogs were always part of our story. They were our companions through childhood joy and chaos β€” and they were there for us during the hardest moments, too.

Zach had a rare spirit. Funny, fiercely loyal, slightly more than a little wild, and full of heart. He made friends with anyone, could quote entire Van Halen albums and Judd Apatow movies from memory, and had a soft spot for every dog he met.

A Childhood Full of Dogs, Laughter & Mischief

When Zach passed away unexpectedly, my world cracked open.

The grief was overwhelming. But in the midst of that darkness, I kept returning to the things that brought us joy β€” and dogs were always a part of that.

The more I leaned into that love, the more I realized what I wanted:
A life that brought people together. A business that made dogs (and their humans) happy. A space where connection, community, and kindness could thrive β€” just like Zach did.

Losing Him Changed Everything

🐾 Why Pink Paw Exists

Pink Paw Patisserie is more than a dog treat truck. It’s my love letter to Zach β€” and to every person who’s found comfort in the sigh of a warm snuggle puppy.

This truck is full of possibilities; fueled on love and memories. It's filled with the kind of joy only dogs can bring. And every time someone smiles at the window or a pup gobbles up a frosted cookie, I feel like a little piece of Zach is still here with me.
